Winter Break 2011

This fall I ended with a bang and got 4.0's across the board except for math but a B will do for me. Now I have the rest of break to relax and get ready for Winter quarter. I am excited to take Psychology 200, Art and Literature for Young Children. It should be a fun quarter, and the best part is I only have classes Tuesday and Thursday.

I love lathering up this bar in my hair and letting it sit a minute before rinsing. It smells so good and leaves my hair feeling soft. It is my first time using a hard shampoo and I don't plan on changing back anytime soon. It lasts a long time and will please your scalp and hair. It's heaven in a bar!

Need Some Extra $

If you are looking for trendy affordable clothes you should check out Ashley's Room. It's a darling consignment store that is constantly updating with fresh clothing. Compared to other consignment stores you get a good percentage of the money back (40%). I have checked other consignment stores that only offer 15% cash back and I have made quite a bit of extra cash for being a poor college student. I love finding good deals there and helping out the business by consigning my clothes. Check it out and enjoy!

Cannon Beach

Last week I enjoyed a nice vacation with my mom and aunt at Cannon Beach. I haven't had much of a summer taking summer quarter but getting 3 days off of work was all I needed to have a pleasant escape. On our little trip we hit many destinations such as Astoria, Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Tillamook, and Cape Mears. Every stop had its own character to offer and I loved every moment. Each morning we took a stroll on the beach and enjoyed the fresh air. The weather was nice and cool near the ocean and it wasn't too hot. I wouldn't mind taking a trip to Oregon more often.

We could have stayed there all day :)

Blast Off!

This month the Trackers had the main bulletin board at the daycare and Ms. Maggie did a great job decorating it in a space theme. We look like a bunch of nut cases haha! Blast Off to a new class.

Class Banner for work :)

I decided to get crafty and make a banner for the class I work in. Hope the Trackers enjoy the new fun banner. Here's to a new class. I enjoyed making this banner tonight with bright floral, abstract, and fun scrapbook paper. I love having time on my hands again! Here are a few pictures :)

The Body Shop!

I absolutely love The Body Shop! Their products are amazing and only do great things! The Hemp and Olive body butters are my favorite because they are made for dry skin. The Hemp line is very earthy smelling and may take a while for some to get use to but I love it because my skin is always smooth. The Olive line is very subtle and light smelling. It leaves my skin moisturized for the whole day. I also use their Vitamin E face cleanser and face lotion and it works wonders. The Body Shop is against animal testing and participate in Community Trade. In 1987, The Body Shop launched Community Fair Trade. One of the first examples of fair trade, Community Fair Trade has numerous benefits for our company, our customers and our suppliers. Through our long term trading relationships, we do more than give a fair price. They offer their suppliers a predictable and regular income for their family and the security and confidence to develop their own businesses.

Try The Body Shop! Let me know how you like it :)
